The book
You are not an unfinished project
We live in a culture that is constantly shouting, “Create yourself! Define your own truth! Follow your heart!” But sadly, while it promises us freedom, it ultimately leaves us feeling exhausted, anxious, and empty.
In Who Told You Who You Are? Rob Lucas offers us a genuine and refreshing invitation to step off the cultural treadmill; to stop treating our lives like a project we must frantically self-assemble in front of an audience that never stops watching.
Drawing from decades of walking alongside people in their deepest struggles, Rob reminds us that we are not unfinished projects, but actually loved children of God, named by the Creator. This book is a clear compass for all who are desperate to stop performing, to leave behind the weight of self-made identity, and to rest secure in the unwavering worth that Jesus has already given us.
